The Activity Building
Have a look at our Education Programme to see what’s on offer for your students’ age range – different workshops and science shows are available through the year, giving you varied content for repeat visits. Each activity typically takes around 1 hour, and your students will have a lunch break before or after, depending on your schedule.
We suggest that your first visit could be the Basic package with 1 Exhibition session and 1 Activity session, but for subsequent visits the Upgraded package allows you to book 2 Activities instead.
Workshops
Workshops take place in the upper level of the Activity building, in either the lab or the workshop area. Each room can accommodate up to 25 students at a time.
The workshops are all hands-on, and we provide all the materials except for rare exceptions which will be communicated to you at the time of booking.
Science Shows
Each science show has a theme, such as the human body, or the weather. The hour-long show is packed full of engaging demonstrations that bring science to life, and our Science Communicators love sharing their passion for science with your students.
